On November 28, 2023, the Commission issued its decision in Secretary of Labor on behalf of Alvaro Saldivar v. Grimes Rock, Inc., Docket No. WEST 2021-0178-DM.

On October 11, 2023, the Commission issued its decision in Sec'y obo Collins v. Crimson Oak Grove Resources, LLC, Docket No. SE 2023-0235.

The President has designated Commissioner Jordan to be the Chair of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission.  

Commissioners Mary Lu Jordan and Timothy J. Baker were sworn in as Members of the Commission.  Four of the five Commission seats are now occupied.
